Donald Trump, ex-president, is keeping his cards close to his vest when it comes to whether he will run for president again, as he has done throughout his career as a millionaire real estate developer and businessman.
It’s not like Trump hasn’t been asked six different questions every time he appears in an interview. Dan Bongino, a conservative pundit and author who took over Rush Limbaugh’s coveted noon-3 p.m. EDT weekday slot on Monday, asked the former president, who was his guest, if he planned on hopping in again next time. And, of course, the response was a resounding ‘definitely maybe.’

Trump was also a guest on Newsmax TV’s newest primetime show, “Cortez & Pellegrino,” on Tuesday night.
The usual response from the former president and his supporters has been to ‘wait and see’ until the results of the 2022 elections; if Republicans reclaim the House and possibly the Senate, Trump’s decision to run again in 2024 may become more likely.
There’s also the question of whether the so-called “powerbrokers” in Washington, D.C., who orchestrated the attempt to deny Trump reelection by interfering to circumvent state election laws, will do so again to prevent a second Trump term. Is Trump well aware of this possibility?
He and Mark Meadows, Trump’s former White House chief of staff and a Republican senator from North Carolina, appeared on Sean Hannity’s show Tuesday evening to talk about the matter.
“You’re both close friends with the former President. “Does Donald Trump intend to run for President?” enquired Hannity.
“I believe he is,” Jordan responded. “Every time I speak with him, he expresses his desire to flee. I believe he intends to flee. I sincerely hope he succeeds. President Trump has done more than any other president in terms of following through on his promises. We’ve never had a better President.”
“We’re still seeing it in New York City, from the Russia hoax to impeachment. Mark Meadows added, “The American people want him to run, and I believe he will.”
Trump, on the other hand, is dealing with a slew of challenges in the meanwhile. Predatory prosecutors in New York and Georgia, for example, are itching to indict him for anything and have either opened investigations into him and his businesses or, in the instance of Manhattan prosecutor Cyrus Vance Jr., have already summoned a grand jury to examine “evidence.”
Nonetheless, as Politico points out, there are additional signs that Trump intends to run for a third term:
Acid wash jeans, scrunchies, and other accessories Gingrich, Newt. The Republican blueprint for regaining legislative majorities from the 1990s is making a comeback, just like 1990s fashion.
Former President Donald Trump has begun drafting a policy plan defining a MAGA doctrine for the party in the hopes of regaining control of the House and Senate in the 2022 midterm elections. His model is President Bill Clinton’s 1994 “Contract with America,” a legislative program unveiled ahead of the midterm elections in the midst of his first term. And, to top it off, he’ll be doing it with its principal creator, Newt Gingrich.
