Fearing That He Will be Replaced by Michelle Obama, Trump Went “Easy” on Joe’s Mental Health

According to a new book, Donald Trump viewed Joe Biden as a “mental retard” during the 2020 presidential election, but was hesitant to criticize him too harshly for fear of Democrats replacing him with Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton.

This claim is stated in Wall Street Journal reporter Michael Bender’s upcoming book, “Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost,” which will be released in August. According to Vanity Fair, Trump reportedly interrupted a White House meeting and inquired, “How am I losing in the polls to a mental retard?”

Former Bill Clinton adviser Dick Morris, who has shifted to the right and has informally advised Trump, told the former president that Democrats may decide to replace Biden on the ticket.

Bender said that “Dick Morris warned Trump that Biden was too old and too prone to gaffes to be the nominee.”

In January, Biden became the oldest president in history when he was sworn in at the age of 78. Trump will celebrate his 75th birthday later this week.

Democrats would “realize [Biden] is elderly, and they’re going to give it to somebody else,” Trump reportedly told his advisors. They’re either going to hand it up to Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama.”

Despite having failed spectacularly in her last two attempts at running for president, Clinton is said to have considered entering the contest. She ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic presidential nomination against Barack Obama in 2008, and then lost to Trump in the 2016 election.

Meanwhile, despite the fact that Michelle Obama is extremely popular among Democrats, she has always stated that she has no interest in running for politics.

According to Today, Michelle remarked in 2018, “The reason why I don’t want to run for president — and I can’t speak for Oprah — but my feeling is that, first and foremost, you have to want the job.” “You can’t just say, ‘Well, you’re a lady, run.’ We simply can’t find the ladies we like and ask them to do it, despite the fact that there are millions of women who are interested in politics and have a passion for it.”
