The FBI this Wednesday shared a video of the person who placed the pipe bombs in DC on January 5. The bombs were located at the RNC and DNC DC Headquarters and detonated by a bomb squad on January 6.
The latest video shows us the suspect on a cell phone with timestamps, and they still can’t identify the person!
FBI asked the public to help in the identification process of the suspect.

“We are asking the public to come forward with any information that could assist us, including any odd or out-of-character behavior you noticed in a family member, friend, or coworker, leading up to or after January 5,” the FBI previously said.
The suspect “wore a face mask, glasses, a grey hooded sweatshirt, gloves, and black and light grey Nike Air Max Speed Turf shoes with a yellow logo” and “used a backpack to transport each of the devices,” the FBI said.
Also, the video gives us a map of the suspect’s route, and we can see that he sat on a bench with his cell phone.
“The FBI is extremely grateful to the American people who have already provided us with vital assistance in this case,” said Steven M. D’Antuono, the assistant director of the FBI’s Washington Field Office.
“Since January, the FBI has conducted more than 800 interviews, collected more than 23,000 video files, and assessed more than 300 tips related to this investigation. Those tips have helped us uncover new information, which we are releasing today and asking the public to view it and call us with any information you think may be relevant.” He continued.
“We know it is hard to report information about a friend or family member, but these pipe bombs were viable devices that could have detonated, causing innocent bystanders to be seriously injured or killed. Your tip could be the one that prevents this person from harming themselves or anyone else,” he concluded.
