Dr. Anthony Fauci and Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention Director George Gao’s private emails were revealed by the Washington Post on Tuesday, revealing a “cozy” connection, according to Breitbart News.
“After seeing the Science interview, how could I use the phrase ‘huge error’ to describe others? That was the phrase used by a journalist. On March 28, 2020, Gao wrote to his pen pal Fauci, expressing his hope that he would understand.
He went on, “Let’s work together to get the virus off the planet.”
“The leaked emails reveal that Fauci sought to answer several requests, sometimes pushing “send” well after midnight, according to the Post. Fauci wanted to preserve relations with Gao, a well-regarded Chinese scientific expert — and Gao with him — even as Trump ramped up his criticisms on China for failing to quarantine the virus after it was first detected there.”
Take a look at what Breitbart News said on Fauci’s meetings with lawmakers:
Meanwhile, despite the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supported the Wuhan lab, Dr. Anthony Fauci continues to deny gain of function research assistance in relation to the flu’s origin.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said on May 25 that Dr. Fauci lied about his gain of function comments about Communist China’s lab on May 12.
“Do you feel he [Fauci] perjured himself?” Paul was questioned on Real America’s Voice.
Paul said, “Absolutely.” “He lied to the people of the United States of America.”
On May 26, Paul urged that Fauci be “made to testify under oath” about whether the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases financed gain of function studies at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Several Republicans, however, sought Fauci’s dismissal on May 26, two days before the House Judiciary and Oversight Committee Republicans opened an investigation into the NIH’s Wuhan Lab program.
Reps. James Comer (R-KY) and Jim Jordan (R-OH), ranking members of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees, wrote to Dr. Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health, raising “concerns that EcoHealth Alliance knew of the Chinese Communist Party’s attempts to cover-up the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and failed to act or to inform the United States government.”
