Dr. Fauci Warns Women Who Took J&J Vaccine to “Be Alert for Symptoms”

On Tuesday morning, the Biden administration called for a ‘pause’ in the administration of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 China coronavirus vaccine. The FDA and CDC have asked states to ‘pause’ the J&J vaccine while the issue is investigated, citing six cases of blood clots in women aged 18-48–including one fatality–out of around seven million vaccines administered. AstraZeneca’s similar vaccine, which was also used in Europe, had similar clotting problems. The ‘pause’ was first reported by the New York Times.
Following the news, Dr. Fauci held a press conference with the Biden team, warning women who had received the Johnson&Johnson vaccine to “be alert.”

Women who have had the Johnson & Johnson vaccine should be on the lookout for signs of an adverse reaction, according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, as US health agencies advise against using the vaccine before further testing is completed.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advised against using J&J’s vaccine on Tuesday.
Six individuals, out of the 6.8 million who have received the vaccine so far, have identified blood clots, prompting their recommendation. All of the women were between the ages of 18 and 48.
J&J also announced that their vaccine would be delayed in Europe and that clinical trials would be halted.
