Candace Owens Like You’ve Never Seen Her Before

Candace Owens, the conservative culture warrior, is bringing viewers behind the scenes like never before, describing her inspiration for her highly awaited Daily Wire show, “CANDACE,” and candidly exploring her upbringing, meteoric political success, and her newest adventure: motherhood.
Owens’ new talk show, “CANDACE,” will air on March 19 and will be taped in front of a live studio audience in Nashville, erasing the media’s “caricature” of her, according to her.

“I think one of the strangest things about where I’m at is how well the media has created a caricature of Candice Owens,” she said. “And part of that stereotype is that I’m always defending myself, that I’m mad, that I’m upset. That couldn’t be any further from the facts. I’m a mother, a wife, a friend, and a sister. And I believe it has been absolutely stripped away in this era of media manipulation and the construction of individuals as either good or bad.”
Owens predicted that her sense of humour would come through. “People who work with me are still shocked that I have a sense of humor, and that really speaks to how good the media has been at hardening me,” the conservative explained. “Humor is my life; I’m always laughing and having a good time. “I don’t believe you can get through life without a sense of humour.”
Owens’ primary reason for being on the show is to be herself and speak her mind.
“All I want to do is be myself.” It’s just a basic idea. I just want to be myself and not feel compelled to be someone else because of the media’s demands. … There’s such a bullying mentality that tries to paint people into corners. You must be this because you are a woman. You must be this because you are a guy. You must be this because you are a lesbian. And, at the end of the day, I believe people simply want to be themselves. And I believe that many of my fans believe that I have given them permission to be themselves because I do so unapologetically.”

“I just needed a clearer answer than that,” Owens added, “because I wanted to understand why people wanted me to do something.” “And I think I’ve just taken that around with me and it’s landed me in a political space.”
Motherhood has heightened Owens’ emotions even more.
Owens stressed, “I think the one thing that motherhood has transformed for me is the seriousness of this moment.” “Previously, it was easy to get up on a stage and tell people that something is wrong and that, as a group, we need to change things.
When you become a parent, though, it becomes much more important because you know that the world we’re deciding on now is the world your child will have to live in.”
“Right now, America is building a world in which no child will thrive,” the new mother warned. “You are not supposed to make mistakes; we are too harsh right now. People are discovering tweets from 20 years ago and canceling people as a result of them. Allowing a child to grow up is a vital part of becoming a child. It’s the freedom to make mistakes. So, what do kids do when society says, “No, you’re not supposed to anymore?” All feels a lot heavier now, and I’m making a lot of changes.”
Owens’ meteoric rise has drawn the ire of political critics and detractors. Owens explained, “People spend so much time hating me, it’s almost a full-time job.” “I’m fascinated by some of their accomplishments.”
Owens, on the other hand, has continued to rise above the din due to her thick skin and sense of humour.
“First and foremost, I believe my batters should be aware that I am amusing,” she said. “I grew up with two sisters, one of whom is a year older than the other. You didn’t grow up in my house if you think you can torment me. I have a lot of cousins who have extremely thick skin. If you remember you said something about me, it was most likely said to me by a parent when I was 6 years old.
“I’m a well-formed person. On my two feet, I feel solid. She added, “I know what I believe.” “And I’m not going to let myself be intimidated into saying anything. One thing I can promise is that you will never hear one of those celebrity apologies from me on this show. Apologies were copied and pasted as if they were being kept hostage. And if I make a mistake, I’ll own up to it and move on. And I hope that people believe they are free to make mistakes.”
Owens also discussed her faith in God and the importance of faith in our society. “I’m a devout Christian. I’m a devout follower of Jesus Christ. “You don’t have to be religious to know there are things in the Bible that can change your life,” she said, adding, “I’m a noisy Christian.”
I believe that the Bible should be taught in schools again; there are many precious, eternal, if you want to take them as lessons, proverbs of the Bible, and many of them are re-introduced today as sayings, and many people have no idea where these phrases come from. They came from the Bible, which gives you a sense of security.”
“CANDACE is going to be hilarious,” Owens predicted. This is going to be a positive display. This is going to be a political show. Without a doubt, this performance is going to be all of my parts.”
The show will be a weekly series that will only be open to members of The Daily Wire on Fridays. With the promo code CANDACE, non-members can save 25% on their membership.
