BREAKING NEWS: Police Evacuated US Capitol Over Possible Aircraft Threat! It Was Army Parachuting Team!

THIS WEDNESDAY EVENING, the US Capitol was evacuated due to an aircraft posing a threat. Capitol Police stated that the threat isn’t present anymore.
People were evacuated from the US Capitol, Capitol Visiting Center, Hart, Dirksen, Russell, Cannon, Longworth, Rayburn, the Library of Congress, and the US Botanic Garden administrative and conservatory buildings.

The Capitol was evacuated out of an abundance of caution this evening.
There is no threat at the Capitol.

The police didn’t know that the Army parachuting team was jumping at a National’s Park.
It appears an Army plane parachuting people in for the Nats game was misidentified as a possible attack on the Capitol.
