DailyMail.com stated that they got his report and also shared he was driving eastbound on Walnut Lane, only six miles south of the Pelosi’s vineyard in St . Helena.
Pelosi pulled out onto S-19 to cross while ignoring a stop sign and was struck by Jesus V. Lopes, driving a 2014 Jeep.
Pelosi was found to be over the legal blood alcohol limit, so he was arrested on two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 and higher.
Pelosi was held on a $5K bond. After 4 hours, the police used Breathalyzer on Pelosi, where the alcohol level was reduced. Pelosi had prior similar arrests, which would have resulted in the weekend’s arrest as a felony.
CNN reported that there weren’t injuries.
Pelosi’s spokesman Drew Hammill shared: “The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”
