BIG ONE: CNBC Saw Something Big Is Happening! Check These Survey Results!

One CNBC survey discovered that the Republican Party has an evident advantage over the Dems. The CNBC All American Economic Survey concluded that congressional Dems are currently in a precarious place, and we are one year away from the midterms elections in 2022.

Republicans are 10 points ahead of Dems, 44 vs. 34%. CNBC emphasized that’s up from a 2-point advantage the GOP held in October.

In the past 20 years, CNBC and NBC have been questioning the congressional preference, and the biggest advantage Republicans had over Dems was 4 points.

“If the election were tomorrow, it would be an absolute unmitigated disaster for the Democrats,″ said Jay Campbell.

Inflation hit a 40-year high of 6.8% last month, representing the voters’ biggest concern.

“Americans’ views on the state of the economy look to have helped drag down both [President Joe] Biden’s and the Democrats’ numbers,” CNBC reported.

Biden is underwater for this problem. 37% approve of his economy’s managing, and 56% disapprove; it represents down from 40% approval and 4% disapproval in the second quarter of 2021.

CNBC results are consistent with the Real Clear Politics average of polls regarding the economy, which has Biden at 38.5% approve, and 55.8% disapprove.

He’s underwater for more than 17 points.

When the president’s approval rate is below 50%, the party faced a blowout in the House of Representatives in the midterms, meaning a loss of chamber control.

In 1994, the Dems lost 54 seats, and Bill Clinton’s approval rate was 48%. The Republicans lost 30 seats in 2006 when George W. Bush’s approval rate was 37%.

The GOP needs to flip five seats and get the majority in the House. The Senate is split among the two parties, 50-50.
