Biden and Harris Condemning ‘Kids In Cages’ Before Doing The Same

Less than two months into President Joe Biden’s first term, the United States is facing an immigration crisis.
According to US Customs and Border Protection, there has been a massive increase in illegal crossings along the southern border. The agency registered 100,441 attempted entries in February, a 28 percent rise over the previous month.
The crisis immediately resulted in an explosion of unaccompanied minors in government custody; in just the last two weeks, the number of children held by Customs and Border Protection has increased.

About 3,200 unaccompanied minors are currently being held in federal facilities — or, as Biden and representatives of his administration dubbed them before inauguration day, “kids in cages.”
The Biden administration is “creating a humanitarian, security, and health crisis with words and actions that have ignited the greatest wave of illegal migration in our nation’s history,” according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
Despite the fact that President Biden is overseeing the largest number of “kids in cages” in history, he ran for the White House on the promise of reuniting children with their parents.
“Rather than breaking the habit of detaining children, he’s breaking the record for detaining children,” Cabot Phillips observes.
Some Americans are old enough to recall the Biden-Harris platform’s statement that “children are locked away in overcrowded detention facilities and the government wants to hold them there forever,” which was deemed a “moral failure.” Within the first 100 days of Biden’s presidency, the Democrats vowed to “immediately reverse the Trump Administration’s barbaric and senseless policies that divide parents from their children at our border.”
