The Associated Press reported that the police arrested his wife on a domestic violence charge that the right-wing provocateur said stems from a medication imbalance.
Sheriff’s deputies took Erika Wulff Joes into custody and booked her into an Austin Jail at 8:45.
She was charged with assault, causing bodily injury to a family member, and resisting arrest.
Alex Jones shared what happened on Christmas Eve in his house.
He thinks that the domestic incident was linked to his wife’s change in medication. HE wouldn’t say if he was injured in the melee.
“It’s a private family matter that happened on Christmas Eve,” Jones told The Associated Press in a brief interview.
“I love my wife and care about her, and it appears to be some kind of medication imbalance.”
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office didn’t respond to a request on Christmas day for the report on Wulff Jones’ arrest, and a spokeswoman said that she couldn’t share more information.
It’s unknown who called the cops; maybe it was someone from Jones’s house or a neighbor.
