After 10 Years, Former Cellmate Reveals Casey Anthony’s Reaction To Finding Daughter’s Body

Casey Anthony was controversially acquitted of the murder of her two-year-old daughter Caylee ten years ago this week.
Robyn Adams, Anthony’s old cellblock roommate and friend, is now speaking out about her encounters with the lady who, according to many Americans, got away with murdering her own child.

Adams remembers meeting Anthony in an Orange County, Florida jail in 2008 in Lifetime’s new series “Cellmate Secrets.” While they weren’t allowed to talk to each other, Adams said they communicated using “hand signals” from their cell windows. According to Yahoo News, they also wrote notes to each other and hid them in books.

“We’d question each other, ‘Did you write me?'” says one of them. Robyn explained as she imitated their hand gestures. ‘Yes, it’s in the book,’ says the narrator.

Anthony learned that her two-year-old daughter Caylee’s body had been discovered by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a moment Adams will never forget.

“It was awful news when they told her they recovered Caylee’s remains,” Adams recalled. “They transported her to the hospital because she couldn’t breathe,” says the narrator. She was experiencing a panic attack and an anxiety attack.”

Silvia Hernandez, a prison guard, had a very different take on the event.

Anthony was cleared of all significant allegations in this case, with the exception of lying to police authorities, for which he received a four-year term. After taking into account the time she had already served, she only stayed in prison for twelve days.

Caylee, Anthony’s daughter, will be seventeen in August.
