But, in the last 24 hours, the British star, 33, canceled the 24-night run, which was due to make her $685,000 (£500,000) per performance before merchandising, a Vegas record. He caused a row when she had to cancel her final tour dates at Wembley Stadium in London at the last minute after damaging her vocal folds.
Now, all the tickets were sold out! On Thursday, in an Instagram Post, visibly upset Adel stated, ‘I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,’ saying they ‘ran out of time.’
She went on: ‘We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. Half my crew and team are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show.’
‘I’m gutted — I’m sorry it’s so last minute, we’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out, and we’ve run out of time,’ she continued, as her voice started to break. ‘I’m so upset, and I’m really embarrassed and so sorry to everyone that traveled to get [to the show]. I’m really, really sorry.’
Adele did not say when the shows would be rescheduled, but there is speculation it could be from April, meaning anyone keeping their tickets will have to rebook all flights and accommodation.
