On Twitter today, OANN reporter Emerald Robinson said:

“It appears that @GavinNewsom will be recalled and that @larryelder will become the next Governor of California.

And I believe she is correct.

His opponent, Larry Elder, is a popular conservative radio talk show presenter who is not only “gaining” in the polls, but is actually leading in one large survey conducted for one of San Diego’s largest newspapers.

Gavin’s situation isn’t looking good.

According to a statewide poll released Wednesday, more than half of likely California voters believe they would vote to recall Governor Gavin Newsom next month, according to the San Diego Tribune.

According to the poll, which was done for The San Diego Union-Tribune, KGTV 10News in San Diego, and KABC-TV in Los Angeles, 51% of those polled said they would vote to remove Newsom from office.

The level of “political fear” emanating from Gavin’s side, as well as the barrage of insults he’s directing at Elder, are further indicators that things are going south for him.

If you’re familiar with politics, you’ll realize that these types of attacks can only imply one thing: Gavin is terrified because the hallowed walls have been penetrated.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom insulted conservative radio talk show host Larry Elder during a Zoom call with campaign volunteers on Thursday, according to Breitbart. Elder is the leading candidate to succeed Newsom in several surveys.

Newsom’s attack recognizes Elder, a well-known individual who has never run for public office, as the most serious challenge to his position. Several recent surveys show that voters are increasingly willing to recall Newsom; the most recent found that a majority of potential California voters were willing to recall Newsom, reversing a trend from earlier this year.

According to the Los Angeles Times:

Gov. Gavin Newsom slammed Republican Larry Elder, who is leading the field of candidates seeking to succeed him in the September recall election, calling him a climate change denial who will restrict abortion rights and end the minimum wage if elected.

For months, Newsom has portrayed the recall attempt as the work of far-right Trump supporters and a Republican Party intent on defeating his victory in 2018, while avoiding personal assaults on the candidates seeking to replace him in Sacramento.

However, in a Zoom session with volunteers working on his anti-recall campaign, Newsom slammed Elder, accusing him of being a strong Trump fan — a rallying cry in a state where President Biden won overwhelmingly in the 2020 presidential election. Elder was also charged by Newsom of posing a threat to abortion rights established by the 1973 Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court ruling.

I believe Gavin and the Democrats have miscalculated how enraged the American people are over the way this COVID disaster has been handled.

While Newsom was dining with his wealthy friends at French Laundry, many lost their jobs and their way of life as a result of the virus.

That infuriates individuals in unimaginable ways, not simply because it “stings.”

Because the same elites who are telling us how afraid we should be and how we should sacrifice do not appear to be scared or sacrificing in the least.

And, contrary to what Gavin claims, the recall was not backed by Republicans or Trump supporters. He knows it was a nonpartisan effort, as do the people of California, who deserve better than some elitist jerk like Mr. Fancy Hair.
