Do you believe it’s acceptable that Jeff Bezos pays no taxes, travels to space, and then asks the US taxpayer for $10 billion?

Matthew Lee Rupert, 29, of Galesburg, admitted to one count of coercion.

According to a news release from the US Attorney’s Office, he was sentenced on Tuesday in Minnesota U.S. District Court to 105 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for burning down a Sprint store.

Rupert traveled almost 400 miles to Minnesota to “engage in violence and devastation,” according to Acting US Attorney Anders Folk.

“Peaceful protest was not on his list of priorities.”

Rupert was the first person charged in the disturbances last summer. He was originally charged with civil disorder and riot, but as part of a plea deal, the US Attorney’s Office dismissed all charges save the arson allegation.

It’s about time one of these domestic terrorists got his just desserts.

For three months, Americans were forced to sit and watch their country burn while Democratic officials bailed out rioters and disregarded all the destruction, violence, and fatalities.

Now, those same politicians want you to be “outraged” over a three-hour event in the Capitol, when the only person killed was an unarmed Trump fan, and the worst thing that occurred to any of them was a stolen podium.

Isn’t it true that the governing class is out of touch?

It’s revolting.
