“Diego Rodriguez is the grandfather to a ten-month-old boy named Cyrus. Cyrus’s family say he was perfectly healthy two and a half months ago, but since they’ve tried starting him on solid foods he’s repeatedly become ill. Recently, the family took him to St. Luke’s hospital for a fluids IV. Cyrus improved, but as soon as the family was ready to leave the doctors at St. Luke’s said they would be calling CPS on them. Of course, what the doctors were really angry about is that Cyrus wasn’t vaccinated. Long story short, police showed up at the family home. They detained Cyrus’s aunt, accusing her of being his mom and saying she abused him. Cyrus got taken away and now they won’t let anyone in the family see him, except for a two-hour visit from his parents supervised by police. Basically, the police and the hospital are holding Cyrus hostage.”
